Police in Azerbaijan have deployed water cannons and shot rubber bullets to break up an unauthorized protest in the capital Baku. Protesters are angry about the unexplained deaths of several soldiers within a military barracks, and are demanding that the government release more information about the incidents. Hundreds gathered for the protest, which was organized through Facebook, chanting “No to deaths in the army”. Dozens of protesters have been arrested.
